Beeping noise

The car started beeping under the glove compartment when I take the key out of ignition.

Hi Gail and thanks for using 2CarPros.com. Behind the glove box there are relays, but I never heard of them beeping. Does the noise eventually stop? Is it a steady beep? How loud?

It is not a steady beep. Only happens when I remove the key from the ignition. It is loud enough to still hear it when I have left the car and shut the door. It stops a few seconds later.
