Beeping noise

My battery was flat this morning so when my husband got home tonight he jump started it. I took it for a drive and now seems okay.
However, when the car is off light out door closed all the obvious things , a beeping sound is coming from what seems like under the dashboard and it does not stop beeping at all.
What can this be?

it is a warning more than likely. try to find the beeping relay and have a mechanic scan for codes it may need to be reset. You can try resetting security system as battery was dead and that may be it. if no owners manual look online.
