Code P0770, check ball?

The check ball on my valve body might be missing that may be missing a that could be throwing a P0770 code E shift solenoid.

Yes, if the valve body is missing a check ball the unit will have problem and throw codes, can I ask why you think this? Did you find a check ball in the pan?
