It has be the same year and same engine size car you took it from also what ever mileage is on the used BCM you got would be the new mileage of your car. You would also have to relearn the pass lock sensor so the car will start with the used BCM. I would have it programmed. Honestly though if it were my car I would get a new one and install it. Something's I am all for used no biggie. But that BCM is a piece of junk I have replaced so many of those when I used to work at the Saturn dealer. I have like all the years of old ones for tester BCM. You can get a new one for a couple of hundred dollars. Also, on eBay there is a guy that fixes your old one no reprogramming necessary and it will still have the correct mileage. Very reasonable also.

Can you give eBay info for the repair service? I'm not finding it when I search for BCM REPAIR.
The microprocessor on my BCM is heat sensitive. Fails when warm, starts and runs just fine when cool.

Ken, If your question is directed at me, Saturntech9 mentions someone on eBay who repairs BCM.
I'm asking WHO that is as I cannot find the un-named repair service.
A specific business name of the repair service would be very helpful. Maybe they no longer sell the service on eBay.
