Everywhere I look the BCM is under the dash but in 2008 I guess the location changed. I have no idea where to look.

2008 doesn't have a BCM any longer. Instead, those functions are part of the TIPM (aka smart fuse box) It controls most of the body items. What is the issue you have that is making you look for the BCM?

Do their own thing how? Door locks are programmable for speed locking as well as locking in gear. So, what else do they do? Does it have any aftermarket items like remote start or theft alarm? Describe or shoot a video please.

That sounds like it has a bad intrusion module antitheft system. You will want to use a dealer level scan tool to see if the issue is a mechanical one like a bad door switch or hood switch or if it's the module itself. You can get to the module by removing the rear trim on the D pillar on the driver's side. If the unit tests bad it has to be replaced. Then the replacement is programmed to the vehicle.
