My first time building an engine, my question is, can I use my stock head with all the other parts you listed in your build?

Yes of course. Your engine build can be as affordable as you like.

Here is a cheaper piston than I am sure will be fine in your application:

Just make sure the bore is correct. I have no idea what you machined your block to.
