Subject said it all. The car sat for a week with a dead battery. Now the car will not stay running, the idle will not maintain. I have read that it is the computer not knowing the idle adjustments from loss of memory, so I drove the car, using my left foot for the brake to keep my right on the gas so it would not die. I drove for at least 15 minutes and this did not work. Sometimes the car will stay running at first when you start it in the driveway, maybe for 4 or 5 minutes, but eventually it will stutter and die. (the car ran great before battery was charged)

There is likely something specific the Engine Computer wants to see so it knows your foot is off the accelerator pedal. For Chrysler products that means the engine must be warmed up, then you must coast from highway speed for at least seven seconds without touching the pedals. That's what it takes to meet their conditions for the relearn to take place. If there is a special procedure for your car, the dealer or one of their mechanics will be able to tell you what that is. this guide can help us fix it
