Hello, my battery, 4 years old, keeps getting corrosion and foam around the terminals and the battery itself. I’ve charged it and added distilled water to the battery, and it is functioning fine. I’ve cleaned the terminals a few times, but the corrosion keeps coming back. What is causing the corrosion and how can I get it to stop?

Check the alternators charging voltage. If it charges at a higher voltage, it is likely the cause of the problem.
