I use my car about once a month so I installed a battery tender. I removed the tender after two days and I noticed my engine light was on, Then I received a email from Onstar that my engine and transmission needs service. I then used Blue Driver Code reader. The code that came up is P10E2. I then cleared code, light went out. The car runs fine. I called Onstar to run a test and all they came up with is a SDM - Airbag System B067F. An issue has been detected in the Air Bag Deployment System. Thank you for any help.

Good morning,

This code is mostly for low voltage. You need to be sure the battery is at 12.6 volts. Every week, you should run the car so the battery does not go down.

2 weeks is about the limit for a battery for an unused car.

I attached some information for you below.

As far as the Airbag, please start a new question as we can deal with one issue at a time per question.

I am not a fan of it. I would just start it once a week and let it run 15 or 20 minutes.

I doubt the code will come back. I am not a fan of clearing codes but in this case I think you are good.
