So should I look for something with as high in CCA's and RC's as possible then? And if so, which kind of numbers are best? My current battery is fine, I am just shopping for future reference.

Hello, I am Danny.

Here is a basic rule of thumb for purchasing a battery. You take an engines cubic Inches and double it for a CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) rating. For example your van is a 3.6L which translates to 220 cubic inches. Double it to 440 makes it so that you want to buy a battery with a minimum of 440 CCA's (Cold Cranking Amps). Hope this helps and thanks for using 2carPros.

I have never seen a battery with less than 750 CCA. I have been coming across retailers online that will show CCA not RC. How would I shop under those conditions?

Hello again.

As I stated a minimum of 440 CA's. A 750 CCA Battery will work just fine. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
