Battery location in a 1984 VW camper/van.

Need to jump start the battery...but where is the battery located and how to get to it? It has been in storage for a year. I have gone on the internet, but all I can surmise is that the battery is either under the front seat or then again, somebody else says it's under the drivers seat or the passenger seat. Any way you can help?

Under the passenger seat... slide seat forward or rotate 180.
