We were leaving from a picnic, I was driving separately while wife driving the lexusa, shew called and said battery light on, we pulled up to a gas station. Lights were on strong, no noises, nothing else on. Scanned it and it was showing 13.2. No codes. While I was looking at other data the battery light went away. She drove home and all good. Could this be an indication of a failing alternator? Battery is not old, 02/2026

Yes, this does sound like the battery is okay but I have seen defective units, is the battery new? Also, was the interior lights left on? The voltage is low while charging so if the battery checks out I would replace the alternator.
