While driving the battery light turned on then it jerked two or three times, will not start?

I was driving my car, and the battery light came on then it jerked 2 or 3 times. I then stopped at a stop sign and when I went to take off it was like it had no power and a few minutes later the radio started going on and off and the gauges started jumping around. Now the car won’t crank up anymore.

It sounds like you have a faulty alternator. If it isn't charging the battery, the voltage will get too low at the battery and cause all kinds of electrical issues.

Here is what I recommend: We need to recharge the battery. If that is something you can do at home, great. If not, remove the battery and take it to an auto parts store. Most of them will charge it and then load-test it for you to make sure it is okay.

If the battery checks good, reinstall it in the vehicle. It should then start. At that point, I need you to check the alternator output which is very simple to do. All you need is either a voltmeter or a multimeter. Follow the directions in this link and let me know the results:
