After about seven to ten days I go to get in my truck and it is totally dead. I get a jump and it is okay. Now it is dying everyday. I just got my stereo system put in, could it have something to do with the electrical work they did to my stereo and the DVD player?

Hello, I am Danny.

It is possible to have a drain due to the recent accessories being added but, first I would suggest having the battery load tested ans second have the alternator tested. The battery might not be holding a full charge due to the addition of the stereo/audio components being added or the alternator might not be keeping the battery fully charged. Your local auto parts store will test these for free. I have attached a few links showing you how to test. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
