Battery drains overnight?

Hello,

The best test to find this issue called a parasitic draw, is to remove the negative battery cable and put a test light between the cable end and the battery.

Now start pulling fuses until the light goes out. Once the light goes out you found the circuit causing the draw.

Since you mentioned the radio issue, I would start there. There are a few different models of your vehicle. If you send me, you entire 17-digit VIN I can get you some accurate wiring diagrams to help you in diagnoses.

I also looked for any Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) or any Recalls for the radio and did not find any. Once I get your VIN, I will look again for you just to make sure.

I'm sending you a couple wiring diagrams. Sounds like you got a lot of electrical issues. They might be related but let's try isolating the radio first and see what happens.

Behind the kick panel on the driver's side there should be a fuse box. Look for fuse #5 should be a 10-amp red and remove it and see if the radio stops making noises in the cd player. This powers the audio unit. Let's see if removing it gets rid of the issue.
