Battery drain

That is the memory wire that keeps the clock running and the station presets in memory. It is supposed to be live all the time. It is tied in with the interior lights. If you are using that wire for an aftermarket radio's switched twelve volt feed, that will drain the battery unless you turn the radio off all the time.
