Battery drain?

My battery was drained, and the CD stays on the display. Also, the CD player was making a noise when the car was off. Can I take the fuse out for the CD because I don't use it if that's what made car battery drain?

Hi,

I'm not sure which system you have. It may prevent the radio from working. However, removing the fuse to prevent the CD player from working shouldn't hurt anything. Try it and make sure that none of the other electrical components are affected.
