Battery Current Sensor replacement?

I need to replace the battery current sensor due to a check engine code. I have purchased the part, but I have seen people mention that it needs to be calibrated. Does it need to be calibrated and how is that performed?

It is not the sensor that needs the calibration, it is the charging system, I would clear the codes and then you "might" need to reset the system. Also, I have seen this code come up when the battery needs to be replaced FYI. Here is a video showing how to reset the system:

Also, clear the codes once the part has been replaced. Here are the instructions for replacing the battery current sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
