But then I jump it of and it seems to go back to working.. sometimes out of no where the car won't go it doesn't shut off, but it won't roll but really really slow and I give it gas and just barely got.. when I put the car in park or neutral it goes back to a normal idle but put it in drive it won't go.. Eventually shuts off completely.

Hi,

Have you had the battery or alternator checked? Either could cause a problem. When you say it turn slow, that sounds like a weak battery which could be the result of a bad battery or the alternator not charging it.

Most parts stores will check both for you free of charge. I recommend starting with that. However, before you go, confirm the battery terminals are clean and tight.

Here are a couple links you may find helpful. One explains how to take care of the battery terminals and the other is how to check an alternator, which is really easy if you have a volt or multi meter.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
