With extreme cold my nine month old battery drained. I had it boosted and left the car running for one hour.
I tried to turn the engine over again shortly afterwards and got a click click click etc sound.
The engine would not start. What is happening?

Remove the battery, have it fully tested at an auto parts store.

You would probably want to take it to where you bought it.

It still may be under warranty.

Brand new batteries can go bad, right off of the shelf (or later).
