Barely starts and when it does it runs rough and shuts off?

So, I still can't get this car going. I need a fresh brain to look at it. It all started by running rough after my friend messed with it. I don't have a clue what he did, but he was checking the oil for her I guess, but he spent 30 minutes under the hood. I'm told it just quit running, I think there when they went to start it, it wouldn't start, the starter was out. I got a new starter, put it in and when started it was running rough like it wasn't getting enough fuel. I checked the pressure it was low, so I changed the filter nothing changed. So, I changed the pump and found nothing I found my code reader and it said my MAF sensor was bad, replaced that at this point it won't start at all. Checked the cap and rotor were really bad, I replaced them and now I got an engine that won't hardly start and when it does its runs rough and stalls out in a few seconds. I really feel like it is the distributor. At this point I can't throw more money at it, I need help.
