There are no codes. But my gas mileage is 10 MPG. I’ve done a smoke test. Didn’t see any leaks. I’ve read there is a gasket underneath the intake that might be causing the leak. A belly pan? The motor is a 4.7, v8. Mercedes motor. Do you have any suggestions?

The smoke test works okay but it can miss some leaks, how is the engine running? Here is how you can change out the intake manifold gasket on your engine with torque specs. Please check the intake manifold for cracks once it is off. With the engine cold I would follow this guide to confirm a leak.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
