I heard a rattling under my car and noticed that my O2 sensor was lose and looked like it needed replacement. I read online that you should replace all of them if one is bad, and it stated my vehicle has three. I found the second O2 sensor on the back side of the engine by the fire wall. I looked in the front driver side where they said the third should be and I can't locate it. I have looked all around and so has my boyfriend. I feel like the third one doesn't exist! If you could give me a diagram of sensor locations that would be amazing. Please help :(

Good afternoon,

First, there are only two sensor in your car.

Second, you do not need to replace all if one is bad. Just the one that is bad is all that needs to be replaced.

I attached pictures of the two sensors on your engine.

My car has been pulling an OBD code for the Bank 1 Sensor 1 oxygen sensor, but I cannot find it. I can only seem to find one before the catalytic converter and one after, so am I overlooking one or are there only two? If there are only two, why would the same code continue to flash if the two sensors were replaced? Please help.

The code it is pulling is P0135. I have replaced the one before the catalytic converter, but the problem persisted which led me to believe there is another which I found and fixed thanks so much I will get back to you if I have another problem. I love this site.

I had a code reader hooked up to my car it read that I needed to change the cam shaft sensor and oxygen sensors and catalytic converter. I replaced the cam shaft senor. It doesn't want to pick up speed and overheating after you get to 50 mph. Can't figure out why it's overheating now. I haven't replaced the rest of the stuff yet. So my question is, how many oxygen sensors do I need to get and does the catalytic converter have to be welded I place or not? Thanks in advance!

Good afternoon.

Codes do not tell you to replace anything. They just indicate the system that has a fault.

Can we start with the codes?

Your car has 2 sensors and the catalytic converter is a direct fit.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-an-oxygen-sensor

I attached the location of the sensors and the catalytic converter for you.

I would not like to see you waste your money on replacing parts that were not necessary.

Can you contact the person that told you this information and get the codes?

You could also go to a parts store and have them read for free.
