Hi, I recently had a problem with my car lacking in power and not gaining good speed when pressing the gas. And then that went away but now it takes a tad longer to start and has a very noticeable rough idle on cold starts, almost like it’s misfiring any ideas?

This could be fuel related if it is effecting all cylinders equally. However, let's start with what the codes are and we can go from there. I will send you the info on the codes and we can run through some testing. Thanks

If you can't pull the codes just stop by a parts store but it appears you already have them. Just send them over and I will get back with you.

2A2F - Bank 2 System Lean
2A2E - Bank 1 System Lean
2EF4 - Coolant Temperature below thermostat regulating temperature

More then likely you have a vacuum leak causing this issue. Here is a guide that will help figure this out:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/repair-lean-mixture-codes-p0171-or-p0174-on-some-manufacturers

If you don't find a leak there is a small chance that the coolant temperature code is causing the issue. However, when the engine is cold the PCM actually delivers more fuel so it is unlikely that a perceived low coolant temperature would create a rich condition. We can't ignore it but I would start with a the guide above.

Let us know what you find. Thanks
