Not sure how to remove the oil filter housing in order to replace that gasket.

Leaking oil under pressure quite badly.

Thanks!

Oil Filter Housing, Draining

When installing the oil drain adapter (T40057) , a valve in the oil filter housing is opened. If the oil drain adapter (T40057) is removed, the valve is closed again.
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Oil Drain Adapter (T40057)
Remove the cap - 1 - from the oil filter housing - 2 -.

Hold the hose from the oil drain adapter (T40057) in a container and install the oil drain adapter (T40057) onto the oil filter housing - 2 - until it stops.
Allow the engine oil to drain.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Thomas

It takes the multi fluted oil filter cap wrench to remove it after you unscrew the leashed cap covering the oil filter drain valve. Assenmacher 2175 is the tool you need to take it off.

He wants to replace the #3 seal in the above pdf. No need to remove the filter with the Assenmacher tool.
