Yes, it could but you need to verify powers and grounds to the ECM.
If you have a voltmeter, you need to test for voltage. I attached the diagram for you to view.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Position power steering oil reservoir out of the way.
3. Remove Powertrain Control Module (PCM) electrical connector retainer bolt.
4. Remove PCM electrical connector from PCM.
5. Loosen PCM bracket support nut, located on right lower side of dash panel.
6. Remove PCM and bracket.
