Backfiring

Car ran great, took it out of garage and idles great but put it in gear and revved it and it is backfiring.

What engine and has it been modified? Check for cracked cap around coil/coil wire, coil for resistance and see if firing order is correct should be on manifold.

After checking what I said on previous reply then check for a broken/bent pushrod or something similar short out spark plugs one at a time to try to find cylinder that is giving problem. If it "spits" instead of backfire that is totally different that can be an ignition or fuel problem.

Problem is fixed thank you very much. It was the wires.
