Backfire and stopping

So my SUV will crank and run. When I get on freeway after a while it will get to popping and backfiring then will shut off. So put it in neutral or cut it off start it back up it does same thing. I have replaced distributor, cap, rotor, spark plug wires, MAF. I cannot get it to stop. I need help bad.
