Hi,

What cable are you pulling on? Does the vehicle have electric or manual locks? If you are referring the electric actuator, does it make any noise when you try locking it? Have you checked for power to the actuator?

Let me know.

I am pulling on the cable that is for the door locks and it is electric locks. Like I said if you pull on that cable it will not lock the door. The cable also seems to have a snag in it.Appreciate the help.

Hi,

When you try to use the power lock, does the actuator make a sound? As far as pulling the cable, there is a sheath over the actual cable. I attached a pic below. Let me know if that is what you are referring to.

Also, if the actuator isn't making any noise, check and confirm there is power to pins 1 and 2 at the connector. If there is, replace the actuator. If there is no power, let me know. If you look a pic 2, I highlighted the two pins that should have power when the switch is pressed. One will have power for locking and the other is unlocking.

If the lock assembly needs replaced, that means the door latch assembly has failed. Let me know if you need directions for that.

Let me know.
