My transmission flares (700 RPM jump, two seconds roughly) from second to third guaranteed. Sometimes worse three to four second count. Recently the flares are in between every shift of every gear but second to third still the worst culprit. This only occurs once operating temp has been reached. Sometimes the flares do not take place at all throughout any gear shift hot or cold temperature but the flare between second to third will show its face eventually. I have been live scanning the car recently to watch my fuel trim numbers cause my MPG has gone from 25-27 when I got the car down to 17-19 just a few months ago. I noticed the last two days at night time mainly that the STFT is "normal" fluctuating positive to negative back and forth but once I release pressure on accelerator the fuel trim is very high negative numbers (-16 to -20 plus). These numbers rise once I am stopped at my destination and put the car into park (-18 to -30 plus). I have done a good amount of research for this b4ra transmission and have found no positive solution/fix for the flare. So basically I am stumped on why the trim numbers would rise once transmission is put in park? Is there something that I have overlooked that make a connection between the two?
Any help or pointing in the right direction would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Matt.
Parts Iha ve replaced:
*ECT sensor
*Coolant/ bled the air out of system
*Transmission cooler (since cold temperature seems to shift normal)
*Drain and fill three times (genuine Honda ATF fluid)
