My vehicle has difficulty in starting most times, sometimes it starts with no issues, but one code keeps popping after the sensor has been replaced swapped and the problem still stays in the same bank 1. KM8SM4HF9FU108272 G3. 3GDI 2015 USA Model. P0340

The first thing is the ECU issue, the code says it is bad but I have had good luck having the ECU reflashed. A shop will need to do this for you or you can get get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay.

B1010 Code - ECU Malfunction
P0340 Code - Camshaft Position Sensor 'A' Circuit Malfunction

Here is the location of the ECU so you can swap it out, also I would remove the electrical connectors and plug them back in to help fix a potential bad connection, check for corrosion as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

I swapped the ECU, the problem remains the same. Please the 3 wire camshaft sensor signals will help if I can know what voltages and signals I am supposed to get.

Hi Ken, thank you very much. From your wiring diagrams of the sensors, I was able to realize ground was not coming on all 4 sensors, so I just created my own ground and that took care of the problem. Thank you very much for your constant assistance.
