Hello, I am Danny.
Need a little more information. Do you mean the AWD (All Wheel Drive) light came on? Why did the mechanic suggest replacing the oil pump sensor? Hope to hear back from you soon and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Yes, my light came on and when the mechanic scanned an error code came up that I needed to replace the oil pump sensor. Nothing about the AWD message.

I read online that the AWD switch goes over time. I suggested replacing the switch and he said it is in the transmission and I should take it to a place that specializes in transmissions. Other than the message my car runs fine. How much would it cost to replace the switch and should I go that route?
