Just want to service the trans in my car all works fine. is there a filter I need to change inside? is Valvoline DEX/MERC;MERCON'LVpart # 773775 full synthetic the correct fluid to use? It saye Hyundai SP-2, SP-3, SP-IV, SPH-IV rated. Thanks Jeff

Yes, there is a filter in the transmission that will need to be changed. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved for a transmission service:
