I took the transmission control unit apart and found that there is a picture of it totally burned around 1 inch wide 1 inch long so I know the control unit is bad. But I'm wondering would that have anything to do with it not starting? It turns over fine but will not fire up. Hanged crank shaft position sensor also changed cam shaft position sensor including coil packs. Not sure what to try next?

Good afternoon,

It could be involved in starting as the engine PCM looks at the TCM for information.

Did you check the engine PCM for any damage?

Are there any codes?

Did you check for spark?

Did you check for fuel pressure? Can you hear the pump run?

Compression would be next to check.
