I have tried everything I know about having enough gas, changing my hood switch, making sure there are no codes present, etc.... I'm to my wits end. The type of key is the tombstone style. I'm not totally sure if it's the original. I did purchase a key programming tool, and it has worked flawlessly. When I hit the automatic start button once then twice within 5 sec and hold it on the second press nothing happens the doors lock as to act like it's going to crank but nothing my turn signal markers used to flash twice but now it won't even do that. Please help.

I have seen the TIPM, or the ignition button switch go out and cause this problem, but we need to check the fuse #8 in the fuse panel on the right side of the trunk.

This guide can help:

I would do a CAN scan to see which codes are stored. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

Here is the scanner for $26.00:

The TIPM is easy to replace because it self learns, (plug and play) here is the location in case there is a code for it. Also, here is the ignition node which can cause the problem as well. If you change the TIPM out disconnect the battery. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

Question, is there a way to reset the ignition node? Other than disconnecting the battery terminal, negative first then positive. Reconnect positive first negative last?

Yes, you need to discharge the capacitors. This is done by touching the negative side to the battery.
