For a few months my drivers door lock and unlock did not work with key fob or door panel but all the rest of them did. My key fob broke so I got a new one had someone try to reprogram the new key fob he has done quite a few of them so he knew how to do it I thought. Well I twas unsuccessful and now the door panel switch will not lock or unlock the doors. I replaced the main drivers door control panel did not fix it. When you hit the lock button you can hear them trying to lock but when you hit the unlock you hear nothing. I had to disconnect battery to clean connections and when I reconnected the battery the doors unlocked on their own, but still nothing when I try the door panel switches. I got my old key fob put back together and when you hit the lock and unlock the interior lights come on so it is receiving the signal but still not locking or unlocking the doors.

Hello,

It sounds like the lock actuator in the drivers door is not working right, but to confirm the failure lets check for power at the actuator in both directions. Here is a guide and the wiring diagrams to help us get started you will need to remove the door panel:

and

Check out the diagrams (below). Please run some tests and get back to us.

Cheers, Ken
