Is this something that just started occurring? To verify there is not some other problem, start the engine while the driver's door is open. The locks should not activate. Normally the automatic door locks activate at fifteen mph, but regardless, this is a "customer convenience" setting and is changed with a scanner. When I worked for a very nice family-owned Chrysler dealership, if we could run out, connect the scanner, and make the changes in less than five to ten minutes, we did not have to write up paperwork or charge for the service. We did that for regular customers and anyone who bought the vehicle from us.
