2000 Audi Quattro catalytic converters removal install

2000 Audi Quattro 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

I am removing and installing both the catalytic converters on a 2000 audi a4 quattro. I have all four O2 sensors out. I also have both cats disconnected from their exhaust manifolds. I cannot remove the cats from the car the forward cat and flange are not clearing engine compartment. I only have the front end lifted off the ground. How do I get them out?

Sometimes if the forward flange wont clear between the body and engine, you need to unbolt the motor mount on that side and jack up the engine until it makes it out.
