I have a 1990 Audi V8 Quattro which runs great for about 15 minutes, and then dies. I have to wait anywhere from 15-30 minutes for something to cool down in order for the vehicle to start again, but, the same thing happens again. Someone mentioned an ignition amplifier?

Hi Jeff L,

Guesswork is not the best means of getting the job done.

You should try to isolate the cause and I would suggest trying the following link to understand better how to go about trying to get to the cause.

If you need any help, feel free to ask, but please remember that we can only be of help if you are able to provide proper and detailled information.
