I've tried replacing the thermostat and i know that it's not the seals. I'm pretty sure it's the water pump but i want to make sure before i go ahead and buy it. there are no leaks and the head gaskets were already changed about a year ago. It's a 1990 audi 90 it has 110 k miles on it, and has a 5 cylinder 2.3 liter engine.

Definitely you should check the cylinder head. Check it if you have some troubles. If not, then you will be changing the water pump.
