Audi A6 2.4SE '97 Where is the cambelt located?

Yesterday I had the waterpump and cambelt changed on the above car.

Could someone confirm whether the cambelt is visible and located behind the radiator going round several pullys and a fan? Or is is hidden from view?

The belt that drives the camshaft is protected from foreign objects and can't easily be viewed. When you have repairs performed, simply request to have the old parts returned. I have never had a problem with a customers request for education about their car or what makes them work.
