I recently had a battery light come on the cluster in my car. The battery gauge was reading 12 volts. Normal voltage is aroud 14. I would rev the RPM's so that the battery would go to normal voltage. I took my car to the closest Audi dealership and they told me I needed a new alternator and battery. SO I changed them. Alternator was covered by extended warranty, battery was not. After a couple weeks, the battery light came back on, took my car back to the dealership and they told me that I needed a battery harness.

I work at a dealership and I had a technician look at my problem. Tested the battery and the battery was testing at 14 volts. He thinks that I have a "Lazy Alternator." Is there any way I might be able to get feedback for this problem?
