I have a brake fault light along with the ABS light on. The code read said it was the front left ABS sensor gone bad. I had this replaced and the lights were still on. I then read that it was possibly the brake sensor switch behind at the brake pedal. I bought and replaced this part. Lights were off for a short test ride and came back on. Any ideas where to go from here? When th ecar is cold the lights will sometimes stay off for a distance but always come back on.

ABS light on you should check for codes
what do you have for codes

Before beginning
Check brake system (master cylinder and fluid, brake hoses, brake lines and brake calipers) for function and proper sealing (must be free of leaks).

The code indicated it was the front left ABS sensor. As I believe I said in the initial post. This sensor was replaced at a cost of over $300. This did not fix it. I then read it possibly is the "brake sensor unit" at the brake pedal. I replaced this part. The lights are still on. The brake fluid is full and there are no leaks.

I assumed it remains the same code which still indicates the front left ABS sensor. I will have it read again.

You have four sensors could go out at any time, you still have wiring and many others to consider
with codes I can pull up a diagnostic charts to follow and locate the defect
