I have a 2002 audi a6, a few months ago the blinkers started stared blinking a few times and then stopping in either direction. Then about 2 weeks ago the blinkers stopped blinking all together, they now just hold a solid light in either direction. I have checked and replaced the fuses, and ideas? Thanks

HI there,
you will need to replace the flasher can, this is the control unit that regulates the flash, it is just a small plug in controller, I don't have access to the data base to send a pic just yet, but your mechanic will be able to do this in just a few minuets for you.

Hi there, here in Aust, they are known as a flasher can, but they are often called a flasher control unit, am unsure where they are located on your car but I will check it out for you,

I have just asked another moderator who has access to the data base to send me some information and I will send it on as soon as I can.
