I am getting the following code using VAG: 17584 - Bank1: O2S (Lambda) Correction Behind Catalyst: Control Limit Reached
P1176 - 35-00 - - It seems to point to a problem with the rear behind the catalyst O2 sensor. How do I know which one. According to what I can find there are 2 sensors - one on the passenger and one on the driver side. How do I know which one to order?

Drivers side after CAT code indicates O2 has reached the limit of its adjustment.

I had my mechanic replace both rear O2 sensors with new. He cleared the codes but CEL came back again with same code.
I've read online the you might need to replace both front and rear O2 sensors. Should I try replacing the front ones as well now? Or could by catalytic converter need replacing.

The code P1176 function test is to check O2 before CAT
Have Tech scan O2 to see if it is providing correct data
