Suspension problem
2001 Audi A6 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
A few months ago I took my car in to have the brakes replaced, they also replaced the cv boot. When they replaced the cv boot they damaged the tie rod end. After a couple of months the front of the car began squeaking, so I took the car back in and they told me that the upper control arms needed to be replaced and the tie rod end. Could the damaged tie rod end, have contributed to the damage to the upper control arms?

no, the damaged tie rod is not goign to harm the upper control arm.

all thats going to do is cause poor steering stability and tire wear.
