1998 Audi A6 bad misfire and vibration

I have a 1998 Audi A6 2.8L. It has a bad vibration and misfire that comes and goes. When it happens it is very noticable!! Any help is appreciated!

That could becaused by many things. What I recommend is thaking the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most stores will do it for free, so there will be no money out of your pocket.
