I would like to replace the center arm rest on my car and found one that is for an 1999 audi a6. Will this fit my 1998?

Sorry we have no interchange catalog that will tell us that. What you will need to do is call the nearest Audi dealer and ask them if the part numbers are the same, or call a salvage or wrecking yard as they have hollonder catalogs that give interchanges.
