Brakes problem
2007 Audi A4 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 40.000 miles

I'm in the process of replacing the rear brake pads, I have borrowed a tool to reset the caliper. I am not sure which way to turn them clockwise, counter clockwise, two turns then depress them? I have tried the way one would think to be logical, clockwise and it did not seem to do anything. Any help someone would have on this would be greatly appreciated.
