I have had an ongoing problem with the the tail light in my Audi. How do I get at the light assembly in order to change the malfunctioning tail light?

Thanks , PMC

Open the trunk, you'll see a small circular opening covered by carpet right next to the tailight. Pop the cover out of the way and use either a Phillips screwdriver or 8 mm socket to remove the screw. Once the screw is out the tailight assembly can be pulled off the body and you'll have access to the bulbs.
